Sharing your story about your personal and unique journey with mental health is a great way to encourage others to talk about it as well.
Sharing your story may also help people realise that mental ill health is more common than they think.
When more people share their own stories of distress and struggle, and hope and recovery, it lets each of us better understand the challenges faced by people with lived experience of mental distress.
Your story, as told by you in your own words, is at the heart of the each of us campaign. You can post a few words, a picture, a short film, or you can tell your story in more detail. Do what feels safe and helpful, and only say as much as feels comfortable. All contributions are anonymous unless you ask us to publish your name.
Help us spread the word and say NO to stigma and discrimination. Your story counts. Each of us want to hear from you!
